Grammar Toolkit is designed by educators and linguists to intuitively introduce the grammar topics that ELL and first-language students most struggle with. These illustrated books give many simple sentences and easy guidelines for key grammar and syntax topics.
The second set features introductions to slightly more advanced topics that are still very common and will assist young students in spotting errors and improving fluency. Topics include irregular verbs (like do and have), conjunctions, ordinal numbers, prepositions, possessives, and negative contractions. The sentences provide clear contrastive examples that relate to children's daily lives.
Both sets contain ten 32-page books. Each book has 24 illustrated example sentences, followed by a simple explanation of the key concept and 3 pages of practice activities.
